busy day today. got Chebby new license plates and while I was at the courthouse doing that I stopped by and got a certified copy of my birth certificate. then stopped by the local fabric store for a few things. all in less than an hour
and now i've got an appointment an hour from now (booked 30 minutes ago) to get my driver's license renewed, thats up in december. gotta get the new fancy ID so if I ever get to fly again I can - that's why I needed my birth certificate.
if i had tried to do all of this in Bozeman it would have taken weeks to schedule everything.

and then I get to begin my sewing marathon for the rest of the weekend!

Never liked those, I was a cassette guy. You could record your albums and not have to play them. I have albums that have only been played once, IE the Beatles White Album, CSNY Four Way Street, Rolling Stones Sticky Fingers

I was a proponent of actually buying the CD then uploading them in my iTunes library.. the biggest loss so far has been my entire Phish collection. I haven't been to a store yet apparently you have to make an appointment to speak with a music 'genius'

I have an Android phone, I never kept any music on it.

That's the EXACT one that I have, yours is in pristine condition to how mine looks.

Damn it, Weesas reply didn't copy into here. All of my music was " legal", most of the stuff in my library was from uploaded CD's. There's maybe 2 dozen albums that I purchased from crapple.. I can see in my purchase history when I bought some of them, the others must have happened earlier than they show records of. At one time the EX and I shared an email although we had separate iTunes libraries. After the divorce I had a hell of a time gaining access to my music because of the shared email addy.

I still have all of my CD's, theres just no motivation to copy all of them to a PC then upload them back nto the iPod ( somehow)

The music artists make more money when you buy the CD, more volume , less money from iTunes. Buying a CD at a show is the most profitable for them.

    Nice!!

I was busy during the week, trying to take advantage of the nice weather, as it's about to change.

    Today:

Railing posts and the horizontal privacy planking ( whatever you call it) will go up quickly. I'm dreading buying more of the western red cedar for the privacy planking. $$$$$$$

I put myself into a bad situation with the deck boards, the ones at the big deck were all cut with a miter on the ends with the idea that I'd make a matching miter and do a 'ship lap' joint to make them look seamless, like one very long plank. I cut a short test piece and realized that the boards from last year had shrunk so much that the widths would be a total mis-match to the new ones, so I left the new ones with the factory edge and left enough of a gap that I will make a king plank of sorts to help hide the stupidity that I did.

All this talk about music made me play around with my pioneer 8400nex stereo in my truck . I reset the volume and listening position controls for all 6 speakers . Reset the graphic equalizer . I also readjusted the Subwoofer cross-over frequency and volume control

Those two 8" Pioneer low profile subwoofers now hit extremely hard now and you can really feel the bass

A few weeks ago I was chasing a Nakamichi AV10 on the Market Place. The guy made a vid for me to show that it worked. We got a shipping price then he wanted to also sell me the matching CD player. I thought that it was too much money and I wasn't really interested, so I declined then he just ghosted me.
