With all that, I think I’d get the new 4R if I wanted something new. I think you can fit just as much in the back and then with a good roof rack as long as you can lift that high stuff can go on there. No one asks you to help move stuff using an SUV

 

How would she know if you just had to attend a last second truck meet that may take a couple hours?

 

There would be signs… like coming home with a new truck

Don’t get me wrong, she wouldn’t stop me if I really wanted to go test drive it. She may even go with me like when we test drove one last spring.

Who knows, maybe I still will but again, I “think” I’d prefer the 4R for the next one.

and puppies are expensive with everything they need. The vet and training some I’m not looking forward too

 

One of my patients just got a set of RCI sliders installed on his 4Runner. They don't offer welded on plates now. See the holes in the one on the 4R? Now you can add the plate yourself and remove it as well. My truck has the old style.

Hoping I find the time to get done either the fluid changes or tire rotation and spring swaps tomorrow. Maybe whichever I don’t or can’t get to, I’ll try for Sunday.

Id like to find the squeak in the front passenger side too, that would be nice. I’m thinking it might be the radiator/front mount, which I would need to buy but maybe it’s a coil spring bushing causing it. Those I have new, with top hats that I’ll change during the spring swap.

it is a bit of work but if I don’t have to adjust the spring seats it shouldn’t be too bad. Now, lifting the tires, that kills my back and I’m in pain for days after, then just the normal amount of pain

I need a tire jack thing.

 

Tire rotation! Done at dealership...along with Wheel Balance.

Oil Change...got about 1K miles till next scheduled 5K.

I have a frame squeaking noise coming from my Talon CAT plate that is joined to the TRD skid.

There's a security bolt I need to "Easy Out" but I've not been annoyed to the point where I display OCD. lol

Yeah those Baja bosses are beefy! That jack I got from Amazon is really awesome, you could get one of those. It was only $70 and it’s definitely a solid piece of equipment that will last a long time.
