Two more of those screw-together end tables arrived yesterday. Just what I needed.. something involving zero brain activity to do for 5min. I guarantee they'll be full of nick-nacks before I finish complaining.

Good morning from the farm. Enjoying a nice coffee and looking out at nature. Only thing I hear is a rooster, and whatever song I may have stuck in my brain at the moment.
    Happy Saturday!

Good morning. Going to be a nice day. Going back over to my friend's home after working out this morning. A couple of old friends are coming over to help her clean out the garage and it seems like the thing to do. Irrigation company will be out this afternoon to winterize the system then out to dinner and music this evening.

Can you give us an update on how things are going in the southeast after the hurricanes? They seem to have dropped out of the news entirely.

:pccoffee: Good Morning and HOOK 'EM! Happy Saturday everyone - retired days or not, everyone likes a Saturday! We didn't get any of the cold front rain at all last night. But the wife and neighbor got the walk and yard all cleaned up nicely. A guy from the City came by, and confirmed the contractors "only had to have dirt off the street". He got several "REALLY?"s, and there will no cookies for that Department again!

    20241109_083533.jpg

How the PAID contractor SHOULD have left it, not for two little old ladies to do the work!

Writing project: My Baja California Travel Adventure online articles.

For the past few years, I write for a monthly online (free) bulletin from the Baja Bound Mexican Auto Insurance company of San Diego. Other writers also write for Baja Bound. Not every month do I have something to submit, but with over one-hundred short stories and travel articles, it provides both entertainment, armchair adventure, and travel planning guidance for those who may be 'Baja Bound!

Baja Bound's website has a page for each of the writers' articles:
    https://www.bajabound.com/bajaadventures/

For my articles (111 so far), I made a page with the articles organized by subject, with direct links:
    https://vivabaja.com/baja-travel-adventures/

If you want some travel adventure reading or ideas on where to travel on the amazing peninsula of Baja California, please check them over!

Do you have some Baja travel stories to tell us about?

I maybe going to BAJA soon - Dec or Jan '25. Will read your adventures.
Live in SE AZ and will enter MX at Calexico.
Which is an easier cross into MX for a first timer to BAJA, Calexico East or the More western/regular one that closer to MX 5?

    Afternoon all:

This is absolutely the worse archery season ever, my buddy had a spike buck in front of him today, which was only the 11th deer that we have seen so far. We are spending some time in a DMAP area where they sell additional doe licenses because there is an abundance of deer , all that is is a money racket, there are very few deer there just like all the other open land that we are hunting.
When I started hunting, and for years after, our area was a 10+ on the scale, now it's lucky to rate a 1, it's totally disgusting to see what "deer management" has done to areas that once had loads of deer
