In 2014 there was something like -40/-50 wind chills in NE Ohio, had a ton of fun replacing transformers that gave up trying to keep up with everyone's furnaces and space heaters.

Now I'm shivering like a bitch when it's 40 lol

 

2014 sounds right. Columbus gets less severe then NE, usually ... but what a brutal time that was!

 

Don't shame me, but the before and after of my throttle body. Also cleaned the MAF again. Got less lag and bunch of power back and the P0101 code is gone now. Guessing it was the Throttle Body that was throwing codes.

I know rent prices are crazy, but I just looked at places around where I currently rent and these prices used to be $2100. The $2650, $2899 and $2995 are ridiculous. God help us!

 

Damn! I miss the rent prices of NE Oklahoma. My condo in Oklahoma was $600 for a nearly 800ft² 1b/1b. My nearly 900ft² apartment in Mesa is $1400 with all fees.

Glad to see Arizona finally getting rid of requiring taxes from renters starting Jan. 2025.

 

My rent bill has not included the indicated taxes yet. AZ Revenue sent a letter to my landlord which I assume is not an early Christmas card. I told my landlord I have the money to pay those taxes if that is the reason for the letter, but no word on that yet.

 

It might be included in your rent. Mine is line itemed, so it shows everything including taxes. Next year I'll save $25/month in sales taxes.

 

Hopefully interest rates will drop soon, homeownership is just paying yourself equity in your own pocket

 

The prices are just insane right now. Inventory VS interest rates VS price ... hard to get in.
