    But kahanabob asked about trying the flashdrive in another HU that is the same as the OP's. It's possible it could work on one model head unit but not another.

    we already know it works/worked in his HU model...when it was working in his HU. if he finds another HU exactly like his and it works (again), that just tells us something is wrong with his HU...kinda already know that. :cheers:
