Oh, not all my wiring and plumbing jobs looks neat. My latest retrofit turned into a dumpster fire...

 

I've had my current one 7 months and I'm already looking for a change...

 

i have my suspicions that it was a passion-career that he didn't do his due diligence on the local market demand for(can't fault him for that, i've been a hop away from a similar situation). he opened up shop, expecting everyone to start throwing money at him, when it turns out almost no one showed up for what he was selling...

he doesn't talk too much about it other than the fact that it happened, and out of respect, i don't press the issue.

yeah, the only reason i pried and found out what i did is i wanted to make sure at least his kids were taken care of for the time being. i have very little sympathy specifically for him for the situation of his own creation, but i've also got a lot of sympathy for his wife and kids that now need to deal with the repercussions of his decisions. still going to be rough for a while, but they'll make it. the only people worse to owe money to is the mob or loan sharks...

 

so where's the pictures of jimmy's '88 s-10?

i love seeing budget builds. i've never cared much to watch rich people play.

Nice color.

I see two things I like already:
1) A key, probably one of the electronic ones but at least there is a place to put it.
2) An actual shift lever -- levers were fine for 80 + years, why do manufacturers think we need to turn a knob to shift??

 

I have neither remaining.

 

i'll play! speaking of passion-jobs, and expecting other people to throw money at me for things that aren't realistic for the local market...
