I agree the price sucks, but for me it was a lot more convenient. Again, you don’t lose any mufflers with the Borla setup.

Storage Evictions are fun...and save money.

I was dropping $230/month--I just needed to haul things to the dump and set up new storage racks in my garage.

    Nice...

Might want to get your alignment looked at, them front tires look like you are running too much neg toe, or toe out, I would also consider cross rotating (side to side) the front tires to help knock some of the heel/toe wear back down some, if I am seeing it right... just a thought... :anonymous:

Jack up the axle on the driver's side and check the clamp doesn't chafe on the fuel tank.

Replaced the coolant. Interestingly, while the owner's manual specified 10.5L capacity for V6 automatic, only about 6L drained out.

Put a similar amount of Toyota SLLC back in and bled the system with a spill-free funnel:

I replaced my homemade shovel brackets with something sturdier today: Amazon.com: Bed Rail Brackets, Truck Bed Accessories are Compatible with Tacoma, Bed Rail Module Systems for Shovels, Axes, Recovery Plates, Fuel Tanks and Other Accessories : Automotive

I think the brackets are excellent brackets, while the t-nuts aren’t really t-nuts at all; just flat square nuts thinner than the rail. That made it hard to get the attachment bolt threaded into it. I thought about just using my T-nuts instead, but they are a larger diameter and the bigger bolts won’t fit through the holes in the bracket.

Notes on fit: I have added on the 2nd gen front rail and used them there; they are sized fine for the side rails to sit above the wheel well but since I have the BAKflip my side rails are dropped down about 1.5”

    This and that
I committed myself to only using the same t-nut in everything I’ve been attaching to the bed rail. I end up drilling out the holes on lots of things (most everything) to accommodate this commission. Sometimes I forget about it, and quickly remember with my new purchase.

That's a good idea; maybe I'll do that next time I have to take it apart. I'd also like to find some bolts w/ handles (many are available but not easy to find the right thread and length) for convenience, even though a wrench works just fine.
