That's the filter for the cistern. It gets nasty real quick. I have screen mesh filters in the collection boxes, but fine dirt and shit (literally) still get in there. It's not drinkable and I only use it for the outside spigot. I have a well for house water duties. When I moved in it was actually illegally tied into the domestic supply and they were using it for hot water. Been a fun 3 years correcting shit
