Fully stock, 2006 trd sport got 265/70r17, its awesome cant ask for something better at this age. I love almost everything about it. 3rd owner, heard first owner sold it in a couple months of having it, second was an old retired police man, and here I am the third, its been kept stock all those years and I guess I am here to change that soon lol.

 

Definitely better with the LED H7.

Few updates over the last couple months.

 

Picked up a clean 2014 TRD-Offroad double cab after letting go of my 2002 TRD-Offroad extended cab a few months ago. A bit of a unicorn with only one previous owner spending it's whole life in AZ up until this point. I'll be throwing some goodies on the coming months.

 

For anyone who has replaced a chrome grill surround for color matched, where did you get it from? Did you paint the chrome surround or source one already painted? I’m trying to go this route and not having any luck finding something already painted to match. Chrome is a pain to paint properly so trying to avoid it if I can.

 

In the meantime, here’s mine, I love this truck! Elka’s all around go on next week along with a set of Ray 10’s in Matte bronze. Can’t wait!

Mines a 2015 as well, access cab. At this point I’ve done more to the interior than exterior.

I did this and I remember buying mine through an online Toyota dealer, since it came out cheaper than buying from my local dealer. Surprisingly it was cheaper online, including shipping to Hawaii, than my local dealer.
Anyway, make sure you know your paint code before processing.

 

I found someone selling theirs here on TW off their TRD Sport. Lucked out! you might be able to find someone willing to swap with you on here.

 

Flew to SLC this weekend to pick one up. Drove it home the 500 miles today, and the truck performed fantastic. 22.8 mpg on the first tank of gas.

Which 4Runner wheels did you go with? The silver colored ones or black trd?

I waited too long to buy the color matched grill from Toyota, so now I gotta hunt one down or pay a local shop to do the primed replace part.

So many things still on the wish list but funds won't allow it all. TrueTrac, Deaver Leafs, new head unit to name a few.

New Nokians are on, 255/75R17. Little higher pitched hum than the Wildpeaks, and definitely a firmer sidewall as they aren't nearly as plush even in a P rating.
