This guy has been shitting on the 2024 on this forum before it was even available. Just ignore him. There's a few others that have been doing the same for about 8 months now.

I had one of the first deposits on one and was gonna pay over MSRP and still looking, watching and seeing on sidelines. But sure okay keep up with that stupid defensive generalization.

I’m sure I’m more fun than you. Especially from the posts and responses I’ve seen here and other groups. At least if you have a beer with me I’m open to your viewpoints and perspectives unlike from what I’ve seen with you and some of the others here.

Yep I just go around hating on anyone or thing besides 3rd gen oh wait that seems to be most 4th gen owners.

And it’s turd gen not whatever terd is.

Decided to not make a generalization about you even though you decided out of nowhere to start something here and generalize me and my posts. Apologies “cool guy.”

I don’t think many here hate the third gen, I sure don’t. Most here, and I agree wit them, think the 4th gen is superior, and has addressed many of the 3rd gens shortcomings.

As can be said about 3rd gen owners and 4th gen’s. Neither truck is without its short comings. However you point out any with the 4th gen and you have many who come out of the woodwork who will say otherwise and then start with the rhetoric of “everyone just hates on”, “you can’t afford one”, “you don’t own one so not entitled to an opinion or feedback”, etc. I don’t think it’s superior but it is different and better in many ways and not so much in others, just like gens of the past and their replacements. Is it hot garbage as some make it out to be, most definitely not but it definitely is not perfect. If I had to buy tomorrow I still would, I’m still a fan boy and will probably end up in one someday just not turning a blind eye to things I’m seeing with the brand in general, 4th gen and from my test drives and seat time playing with one. People forget I had one of the first early allocations over MSRP and then got put on QC hold and my plans derailed and then ended up here. I still got cash in hand but I don’t love it enough/feel confident in it or hate my 3rd gen enough to make the jump right this minute.

So this is a bit weird isn't ... we're in mid november with no 2025 announcement on the Tacos. Anyone have other news? I'm curious how the trim levels/colors will shake out for 25
    I got my 21 in Sep 20
    And
I got my 22 in Sep 22 as one of the last 22s to ship before 23s were the only things available in October.

Maybe they are holding back so they don't have to discount the 24s any further?

This is my thought process I think they are adjusting production accordingly in hopes to sell remaining inventory. Honestly they built too many SR5s and upgrade package TRDs which seem to be sitting. That or they are sorting out the transmission issue before it becomes a “Tundra” issue, they already delayed the new 4Runner.

Maybe. This whole roll out has been a little odd.
The TRD pros which tend to be "late" seem to have come in sooner than iForce Trd off roads etc.

And the hybrid ones don't really seem to be available at the moment. So... yea.

How can you say it is a decline in reliability when it just came out? As far as decline in quality, this is my third Tacoma and it is in no way more or less quality than the previous two I had.
