Purchased in 2019. It all came bare, so I had them media blasted and powder coated which was several hundred dollars. Don't remember the exact amount. It's all steel, so it's solid but the powder coating is showing wear in a few places after five years. Would love to get $800 for all of it which is half of what you'd pay for it new, but I also just want it gone, so make me an offer. Talk sweet to me and you might get a deal.

Got a 2012 Mercedes GLK350 4matic with a blown motor I might be selling soon, 125k mi, in good shape besides the motor. I'll work on getting some pictures up for it but I'd sell it for $4,000 to Tacoma World members. Might end up putting a new motor in it if I don't get much interest, I found quite a few motors on carpart for under $2,000.

 

FEELER (tires are still on truck and I'd have to buy new ones)

FIVE (5) matching BFG KO2 - LT255/75R17 (32.1" skinnies).
These fit 1st and 2nd gens with no rubbing (firsthand experience from both my trucks).

5 wheel rearward cross rotations since new. All tires have even wear and ~10/32" tread remaining. ~32k miles on each tire (40,377 total on the set of 5).

DOT CODE 1019 on all five. They are currently balanced with only a few stick-on weights on each wheel, which I hear isn't the case with a lot of other tires.

Never had a flat on these, no plugs/patches.

$500 for 5.
$400 if you only want 4 and I'll keep one as a spare and go back to 4-wheel rotations since I don't put enough miles on the truck to make it worth it.

 

What new shoes are you looking at? KayOhhThrees? Klevers?

 

I was looking at the new KO3, but realized that everything available now is load range 3, which is way too thicc for a Tacoma (in my opinion… unless you're heavily overloaded over GVWR). So I may retract my feeler and just run what I got. I'd like to stay with the same size, but the new KO3 in LT255/75R17/C 111/108S isn't available until (generic) "2025".

 

I'm interested. I'm running load range E tires now, and they aren't bad. They were bad on my 4Runner, but the Tacoma handles them better. I'm hoping to put off buying tires for a while, but they have 2014 date codes, so I really should replace them.

 

Crickets is about what I expected haha. Anyone know much about engine swapping a Mercedes? I'm mostly worried the ECU will throw a fit, not sure how these German cars handle that.
