Just curious what Maaco charged you. My clear coat is going on my fenders and doors mostly and starting on the roof. What was the finish quality like?

They charged me $3000 I paid extra for upgraded clear coat and paid extra to have the fenders removed otherwise they would
have painted over the fender I don't know what you call it ( the stuff between the fender and cab )but it was worth it. I really didn't have any dings or anything because
they don't fix those unless you ask. They did a pretty good job so far the quality looks good. I had to clean up some over spray but otherwise I'm happy with it
I'll try to take some better pics tomorrow. It took 2 weeks for them to do it

Nothing exciting at the moment, sending the truck to get wheel bearings replaced since drivers started going out, brakes, new Total Chaos uppers and alignment before the drive up to Utah for Thanksgiving. Excited for the truck maiden voyage after the refresh on suspension and armor. Maybe do some mild offroading with my nephews.

    Had a very busy weekend.

New UBJ's, LCAs, gusseted spindles, wheel bearings, inner and outer tie rods, both wheel seals, both wheel speed sensors, new alignment hardware with gussets, raised up the front end and new spherical in the foxes.

Oh also a home alignment. Toe 1/16" in, camber at +0.5 , +0.6. SPC's where maxed out for the current LCA settings.

Out with the old grille insert and in with the new stock insert.

Seems like everyone in my town has the Pro insert (i.e. 2nd & 3rd gen tacos, 4Runner's, Tundra's, Sequoia's, etc.).

I also wrapped my chrome emblem with a black chrome vinyl. I didn't want the matte plastic look, and didn't like the chrome either. Anyway, super happy with the look.

cool move, i think the oem one is great looking, as well as the pro. im going to keep my oem one and try to find a blue ribbon metallic surround eventually, not worth the pro grill!

Ditto. It’s pretty much welded on to my camera. Sharp pics and good color. My only complaint I have is that it’s a bit on the heavy/bulky size for travel.

Finally got a Softopper at a price I 'm happy with. $550 off Facebook marketplace basically brand new from an Amazon return pallet. Man, they look so good on regular cabs.

Replaced 3 clips...windshield cowl (prob replaced windshield before me, I noticed I have what appears to be a special uv windshield, connecting the dots) and one of above the radiator clips

    Great purchase years ago
