Morning yall, doing some research on wheels and cant find too many good choices in 16in that I personally like. I dont want to upgrade to a bigger 17in wheel, I like the small wheel bigger tire look. Some brands ive seen that im a fan of are Fifteen52, KMC, Enkei and a handful more. I had methods on my 2016 Sport and want to change it up this time around. Think i might just need some inspiration and more brands/options to look at. Any pics and recommendations are greatly appreciated. :)

It depends on what tire size you are looking for. (265/75/R16) is the next size up from stock that works for most people. Falken still makes 285/75r16's for both the AT3 & AT4 wildpeaks or rubitreks. You might be able to find 295/75r16 from someone else, but it will likely take a good amount of research and probably some compromise.

EDIT - Oops, misread the question - Wheels, not tires. My original reply still somewhat applies as it still depends on your end goals for tire sizes and what not. But I have some 16" Method MR703 16X8 +0mm Matte Bronze 6x5.5 that I love. Pricey, but worth it!

Appreciate the info on tires! Im running 265/75/16 already just for that slight 1 inch gain. Would the 295/75/16 be bigger than 33in? I think that might be the perfect middle ground since 33's are too small and 35's are too big for me. These will be going on once I get my lift ofc. Thanks for the feedback!

I think Falken 295/75r16's would be ~33.1" technically. 265/75r16's are technically ~32", so 295's would be yet another inch jump up. Would vary by tire mfg, so entirely possible that could vary up or down some depending on who makes the tire.

If I was buying wheels again I'd go with something from Method with their Bead Grip feature. I may actually do that at some point even though I really like the way my Vision wheels look.

Which ones? There are 3 different sets of tires in the photos.

Right now I’m running LT285/75/16 Yokohama Geolandar AT4s. They are E rated.

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
What ever you choose but make sure they provide a benefit, not just looks.(bead grip, bead lock, bead studs)

    I opted for method 704’s 16x8 0 offset.

Thank you sir! Yes if I remember correctly, black rhino says that you can put the TRD center caps on these wheels. I’ve never tried though.

Got me eyeing these hard. Think they would compliment my white taco really well. You on a leveling kit or stock?

In your opinion, how do you compare your 5100's to the stock off road suspension?

(Trying to gather as much info as I can)

I went up to 17" to fit a pizza cutter tire. It's very unnoticeable.

Way better. It's firmer, no longer feels like a boat... but takes bigger bumps better.

Stick with the 16" wheels... Nothing looks / fits better on a Taco.

More brands are making 265 75 16 - I really like my Wildpeaks, but I may try Maxxis next time.
