Mine is doing it too. I had my bed cover installed the day I bought the truck. I've tried more two sided tape, with 25 pound weights and gorilla glue with weights to hold it in place. It's still pulling up. The truck is less than 3 weeks from purchasing.

When I took mine to Toyota they told me it was installed wrong. Company that installed it came up with putting rubber wedges on inside of the caps. The cover was pushing down on the inside of the caps pulling up on the outside of them. The wedges give the inside support to keep that from happening. They documented the steps for further use. I’ll try to get that from them.

You got a smokin deal, I looked at Toyota Direct before and just did it again and both time it comes up just shy of $1000 for 4 wheels and center caps. I did not even see if they were gonna charge me shipping. I searched all over for pricing on those wheels and most were the same price and approx $300 to ship to me in NY. Did you have a discount code?

I did not. Just put the part number in. It did say “dealer discount” was one of the lines. I heard they were out of stock so maybe that’s why they are at full pop. Keep trying them.

Any time I cruise through my dealer all of the Tacoma's seem to have the caps lifting some are way worse then others

Mine's only on the drivers side. I'm questioning if it's the backflip cover or just crappy two sided tape from Toyota. Or a combo of both. I may just put a big dab of some good silicone under the cap and weigh it down until it dries and call it good. I've had 50 pounds of dumbells siting on that side for over 24 hours now. Letting it sit under the sun a little more to see if it does anything.

I was able to take some pics of what they did to fix my bed caps

    IMG_0689.jpg
You can see the firm foam blocks inserted on inside of the cap

Are those glued? How are you going to remove the rail endcap and insert a t-nut if needed?

They are sticky on one side. Like double sided tape.

Thanks for the pics. Did they pull the cover off, install those and reinstall the cover? or did they just loosen it and stick those in from underneath?

They had the cover off, including the rails for the cover. Not sure if that was part of figuring out how to solve or necessary for installing the wedges.
