My old man’s wooden saw horses, that he made, were heavy.
He didn't care. I was the one that had to drag them out of the shed.

Look at that!! It went from a sparkle in your eye to a full blown custom tire carrier in less than a month! I can barely take a measurement in that same amount of time lol

Can't thank @OldSchlPunk enough for this! Turned out great! The rivnuts into the bed floor and sides were a little tough to install, but of course Rich had some scrap tubing to extend the handles of the riveter and that made much easier work of it. They're solid. I just need to get a few longer bolts to finish securing it.

Rich was kind enough to sandblast it for me, so I'll get some paint on it this weekend and reinstall it. I was going to get another can of Steel-It for this because I liked it so much for the bumper application, but this won't be slammed on rocks in the elements, so I don't need to spend $38 a can. Rust-Oleum will do just fine. Could do black or see if they have something close to Voodoo Blue or my lime green accents... decisions, decisions.

I'll have to get a pic to share tomorrow of the insert and spin down holder he made. It's ingenious! No more ratchet straps to hold it down!

Ya they certainly don't give that stuff away.
It killed me spending 80/gal on Hard-on but I'm painting parts that are exposed and will hopefully never be removed so may as well......
Depending how much I have left I'm going to hit other areas known to rust and possibly some of my sliders, like the mounting braces at least.

Good luck with that. If it's bolted on, it will be removed at some point.

    Thanks.
Man, I hope I'll never have to take that front receiver and shackle flip off.
I haven't dug that far ahead into but idk if there is any going back to stock hangers, once the rivets are popped out?
Maybe it can be bolted back on.

@Thatbassguy were you the one talking about that plywood bar in Northern WI?

Another press operator is doing some snowmobile maps for Bayfield Cty.
He told me it's in Moqua, WI.

    Googles 'plywood palace'

So, electrical gurus. When I built the flatbed I went all in on lighting... except for the tail/turn signals as I really liked the look of the ones on the South African companies website that I patterned it from. That said I bought some $25 LED cheapies from China. They have the look I want, and have worked surprisingly well with this years adventures and water etc. (I have two more sets in the cupboard as I did not expect them to last this long...) Although LED, they have not caused hyper flash with the turns, until, just recently. What do I need to put in line to make that monkey business stop? Yes, I know, Adam, that I could do a search for it but it is more fun to shake this place into a frenzy and allow my peers to pontificate with their profundity of knowledge. Thanks in advance!
