Tailgate rope brake light recommendations

Looking for recommendations for a 3rd gen tailgate rope light brake light. Perfer simple install

 

Whichever attaches with 3m double sided tape. You'll need to be able to access the hole for the spare tire still. Maybe the opt7?

I don't know of any that are all that good. They are nice for a little while, then some leds fail making the whole thing look bad.

 

i'm extremely love/hate with my opt7. it took a while to set it to clear the spare tire access, but also stay high enough to be fully visible.

but i've also been through 1 bad light. but i love how it looks. but their warranty only covers DOA, with an additional warranty coverage being offered for even more money. but i love how it looks...

 

I came to the same conclusion a while back and opted not to purchase one.
