Ignore the "Negative Nancy" and keep on shooting whats available. Meat is Meat wether it's a young deer or an older deer. I'd keep hunting there as long as I could tolerate all the "Negative" talk. I'm sure it gets old very fast. If you have to find another place to hunt, I'm sure something will work out. Nice Buck!!!

Thanks I will be doing the euro mount myself . The black spot that looks like a hole is a big scab maybe a fight wound . Entrance hole is on other side of deer . Exit is somewhere in all that blood ,my bolt almost sliced his heart in 2 and he still went 75 yards . He was a little up hill of the blind I was in .

Got on the board today with a nice 10pt. Wasn’t planning on shooting this deer this year because he looked young. We got him on cameras in velvet and decided he needed at least another year but he disappeared and we didn’t get any more pics till a week ago and he was missing a front leg. I saw him Saturday and passed him but decided he would either get taken down by coyotes or would have a messed up rack if he survived. He came out today in one of out food plots and was actually trying to chase a doe so I shot him
