I SELL them on pops...and roll them if they're close...
I'm up over $250 on 200 shares selling calls in 1 month....
Sell the $20 for the next friday...Goes in the money? Roll to the $25 for the next friday.....That goes in the money? Roll to the $30 for the next friday..
So right now I am short (sold) 2 $30 covered calls for 11/15 @$64 ea. They are now valued at $110 ea.
Last 4 weeks +24, +80, +65, and now +128 if it expires....
Or I roll it +5 for more $$
Las week it was Sell off happens....
I saw a twitter account that was basically saying that if they are going to keep doing offerings, but never force a squeeze and the infinite shorts will cause mild pumps/volume when they close...Sell covered calls into the pumps and close on the dumps.
$250 on 200 shares is 1.25 a share dividend in 1 month

 

I'm sitting on piles of shares in a few accounts and now that life has calmed down a bit I've been thinking about selling CCs.

I'm only risking 200.

 

Have trailing stops set for 10-15% on: PLTR, 1 NVDA 11/22 145 C, SHOP, COIN, TSLA, DFEN, 2 PYPL 1/17 80 C, 1 NVDA 12/20 134 C, and 2 DKNG 5/16 40 C

I'm skeptical. Especially Tesla and Shopify

Tried to add another $NVDA call to one of my positions today but it never hit my buy price....

I scraped another 11/15 152.5 c and made 30%

then I went the opposite side and grabbed a 11/14 140p…. We’ll see how that plays out tomorrow

 

Never liked puts. It's like playing the don't pass line

Really hoping to see $NVDA break $150 by earnings so I can exit most of my calls. IF it doesn't run up I'm afraid I might choose to ride the lightning next thursday

 

What if, and hear me out, the stocks just kept going up forever!
