My setup is gonna be unique to my kit and to my cab being moved back
I wouldn’t use mine to reference

    So as it stands
The request from everyone else is that I sell Serenity instead of crush her.
    Here’s the catch…
Motor and drivetrain are worth 9ish on their own
25k miles when parked on the ODO
    Cab is worth meh?
Doors are good and worth $$$
Frame is perfect condition but modifications from long travel
    And the solo kit
Has 0 miles on it and has been Cerakoted so it’s basically as close to NIB as it can get

    meaning

That solo kit is worth 8k
    My shocks I’m keeping
    The drivetrain is worth 8k
And the truck is worth 1-5k in every other part? Maybe?
So unless someone wants to buy her for 16k
She’s gonna have to be completely stripped to reap any value to move into the next cab/chassis

    so
    Here’s the offer formally
Truck as is 16K with title
Truck as is with no front suspension 8k with title
Any other configuration of a sale or deal will not include the title

    thanks

I'm guessing you still owe on the note? I don't know of any scrap yard handing out more than a couple hundred for scrap cost on a vehicle.

I’ve owned that truck since 2016
    Additionally as mentioned
    Drivetrain still works
    With only 25k on it
And doors/frame are also in perfect condition

    so a scrap yard
Isn’t on my list until the valuable bits are gone

    I mean… I have a Chevy daily
The Chevy race truck won’t begin til the Tacoma is gone.
Chevy daily is a lot of fun most of the time

It looked like it might be modified so, had to ask.

    Totally!!
    Here
    https://youtu.be/OmOeoEjfR6s?si=UiyIHphjoZ-lsIG0

This video does not reflect how the motor is set up currently
But gives a rough idea of the build

So that video is a bit old
After that video the motor died and had to be rebuilt in July of this year
Motor works now but runs like dog water because the intake manifold won’t stay seated to the heads.
    So currently
    It’s a burden hahaha
But when it works it is super fun to drive

Yeah I’m a mechanic just enough to get myself in trouble
So I try not to touch my motor unless I have no choice.
But every time I work on it I feel a little less stupid
Now if only I could stop breaking bolts

I just wish random problems would stop creeping up and I have to chase my tail for 8 months to figure it out. The last one was running 3rd gen arms on my 2nd gen, not knowing it was causing vibes when coupled with 3rd gen cam bolts. All new lowers and bolts for the right year, no more vibes. Ish... I think the remaining vibes are just these noisy M/Ts.

I just had to order a new wiring harness for my passenger side brake light because it randomly just malfunction
And I know it’s not the light… cause the light is a full sealed housing
And I just pulled my intake manifold to replace orings and my engine harness just started crumbling from age/heat

so now I’ve gotta source an engine harness sometime soon… :anonymous::rofl:
