I love these cars. It has a new timing belt, clutch, alternator, exhaust, valve seals, battery. It has a JDM EJ205 with 50k miles on it recently swapped in. Previous owner sold it because the fuel pump died and they were tired of fixing it lol. Got a new pump on the way today, but confirmed electrical works to the pump yesterday! :woot:

Needs the MY04 5x100 BBS! I looked at a Bugeye wagon last September I almost bought that I was planning on throwing those on.
You can always go back! I'm trying.

We will see what we find! It does need some tires, so I wouldn’t be too upset about wheels and tires. Overall, it’s for us to haul the dogs and groceries in. Not going to be pretty or modded much at all

As long as you chuck those awful 2.5i wheels, I’m good.

The Bugeye I looked at had the quarters and the rear strut towers done, but it was just so otherwise cosmetically rough I couldn’t do it. Had the details been better I would have grabbed it and probably kept the C5. Win some, lose some.

I'm still many years out from even entertaining that thought lol, but have some relevant content (excuse the the early 2010s Instagram filter lmao)

Black GDs are the best GDs (yes, I know yours is JBP and mine was OBP). The STi being crooked still irks me in the old photos but they were replaced by the dealer prior to sale and they never got it right.

Obligatory all the gauges shot (my favorite mods on the car)

    Less Tacoma mods, more STI!

They were still STDs when I had mine so that's the hill I'm dying on.

My wife’s WRX “clone” - 2010 Forester XT - is going to a new home. Being replaced by an Audi Q3s. All this WRX talk make me want to keep it and do a few mods as a fun runner.

Do you need the monies from it to comfortably pay for the Q3? If not and the rear strut towers are good, throw some snows on and have some fun!

I loved the rear roof spoiler on the 06-07's, did not feel comfortable retrofitting it onto mine at that point in time haha. Ugh, I can still remember how satisfyingly notchy the gearbox was just from that second pic
    THIS.
Mom had an XT as well, the best sleepers out there.

I loved it too and it was a big reason I liked the 06 over the 05.

I had Kartboy shifter bushings and the rear shifter stay and it transformed the car.

Strut towers are good and the car has been babied all its life. Already have studded snows on rims in the basement too. Don’t really need the money for the new car, either. Just don’t want to have 6 cars on the insurance policy and I don’t have good a place to park it. My nephew wants it so it’s going to a good home. If I had decided to keep it it would be getting a tune and larger turbo…
