Nothing better than seeing Tacos' in their native environment! The ride was great! The food was great! and more importantly the company was great! Thanks all for coming out and playing in the dirt!

great info, do you happen to know which trails you guys were on? I feel like the water hole is what scares me the most over there.

Water hole ... It hasn't rained in months. I'd worry about the fires

Yeah it's the one that comes off of Carranza and goes to Washington Pike or East Stokes road, can't remember (both sand trails). The forest service maintains them so you won't find mud pits unless you go off trails looking for them.
Check the OP for the route.

Yeah I want to organize another trail run in the spring. Hopefully you can make it!
I wasn't able to do one this fall/summer because we had our first kid so life has been crazy busy, but it's calming down now.

    Allows or "allows"? haha
Well, I've certainly been back there at night pretty late and never had any trouble since I was about 17. The fire trails are technically public roads, so as long as you're not driving like a jackass you're fine. You might get stopped but you won't get fined or anything as long as you're honest about just doing a trail ride and that's all you're doing. From my experience they're just looking for drunk teenagers or people doing illegal stuff.
