I got into HWs around Covid and have not been able to stop since. I probably have over 400 sealed HWs that are all in boxes. I'm not sure where to put them, but I'll eventually hang them somewhere in my garage. I'm currently into the GMC Cyclone and Mercedes 94' DTM.

Thanks, I've actually been registered since 2013! I was able to post some items for sale back in the days, but i guess there's a minimum of 50 posts required now. I'm trying to sell some Method NV wheels. Anyway around this??

I only collect production line models as I'm not into the cartoony HWs. If there's a particular model I like from a series (Ultra Hots, Fast and Furious, etc) I'll try to collect the entire series. I usually get my HWs from a local Dollar Tree. I know their delivery schedule and they let browse through the boxes before they put them up, so I'm lucky for that. I'll post some pics of my collection later.

for those that collect HWs, do you collect them for fun, or for profit? I collect mainly for fun and never got into the treasure hunt stuff.

For fun. I tell everybody you can make money on some of the hard to find ones but you have to be able to find them yourself. Otherwise a dollar car at Walmart is only a dollar. The problem with Fast and Furious stuff is that everyone’s making them. If more jump on it they flood the market and they will all be worth half. So collect because you like them.

Just HWs. I've seen Kaido House and Tomica cars are cool, but there's something about the scale of HWs that I like. However, I do have some random Matchbox box trucks.

Both the Toyota sets came in the same release along with a box truck with a Nissan.
I left the Nissan set in the shelf and there was only one each of the Toyota sets.
