Its not doing me any good.

 

Maybe a little less time playing on your phone out there.

 

Actually when I’m not seeing anything I’ll get my phone out. And I know a deer will show up shortly after. Then it’s trying to put the phone in its pocket and get my reader glasses off and in there pocket without getting busted.

 

That happenened the day i got my buck couple weeks ago

I really think it’s good luck to get that phone out when things are slow.

I’m a crossword puzzle on the phone guy when it’s slow. Not so consuming I lose focus on my surroundings but just enough entertainment to keep my ADHD engaged so I’m not fidgeting.

 

It’s why I don’t think I’d ever like hunting the mid west or the east like do the west.

Country is so big you can often actually hunt all day. All day. Check feed, check watering, and glass bedding. If you’re bored it’s because you want to be.

I can spend all day glassing into country like this and only pick out maybe 1% of the animals this area holds.

 

That’s the reason I do two weeks out west every year. Hunting out there is 100% different.

I also go home to Texas at least once a year but there I’ll sit in a tree sun up to sun down so I’ve got to have something to lean on when I’m getting restless

 

beauteous for sure, but we got to hunt with where and what we got, and my pale opinion is, it aint bad, aint bad attall...

 

There's no getting around it, they always smell me in here. But they always smell me after I could've busted their ass.
