Well shitballs, why don’t you like the bison?

Tacotabs have a lot of slop/ play within the can tab opening. Like more than 1/8” and it’s a common thing. Torque needs to be 250ft/lbs or they slip. If I was keeping I would add a bead or something to fill the void.IMG_3507.jpg Not my pic.. mines worse and flattened one of the tabs

guess you can have first dibs

Yes the bison stop cams have more adjustment, but mine have slop too. I got mine for free, and they came with copper tubing to go inside the LCA. I also have TC cam tab reinforcements.

Sorry about the quality of these pictures. But there is definitely slop. Maybe 1/8" ?

I have KPO's and they fit really well. You can take a look sunday.

We can also measure the opening and just make ones that actually fit. If you have your alignment dialed in you dont need the octogon

Glad I wasn't the only one who saw that.

I don't think my wrench can get to 250. Granted, it's form harbor freight. I don't think I could get to 250. Hell even with a 2 ft bar I don't think I could do 125 unless I hung off the damn thing.

So your complaint with the tabs having too much movement is between the cam and the tab right? Its not between the bolt and the bushing?

If its the cam and tabs lets measure it Sunday and I can make you parts with whatever clearance you want.

Yes, cam and the tabs there’s a gap. The other ones can be returned but should be here Saturday.
I’ll get there early to help set up whatever and we can talk options.

At this point do we just weld the cams in place?

I mean, welding them in place is an option but that is pretty irreversible if you ever want to change LCA alignment settings.

If they are in and fit well enough for you then that's the easiest option.

I have 3 tekton torque wrenches and none of them are broken yet. They seem to be of decent quality.

My lower shock bolts were finger tight when I went to remove them

Other than that, NBD, just troublesome to do alone as a skinny fucker.

I believe harbor freight sells a 3/4” torque wrench, or maybe it was Tekton, don’t remember.
