Ok, you have a point. I’ll get by with the one I have. 250 is the max but it’ll do.

I’m cheap and more importantly have no space to get into that size too.

Well the cv axle nut is 173 so you need a 250 ft lb torque wench. They usually max out at 150 or 250 for 1/2 drive

    I have a couple of 250# 1/2" torque wrenches..
And, an FYI, if yall need anything BIG. I do have a GOOD calibrated 3/4" torque wrench. 200-600. And sockets of course. Not sure where they'd come into play on the Tacoma... but, hey..

Me neither. The largest torque wrench I have tops out at 150 lbs. Need a 250 one for the axle nuts (173 ft lbs) on my truck.

No. I worked at a place that repaired industrial gearboxes. There was one thing that the torque was about 1,500. We had a 4 or 5 foot long torque wrench that took three guys to operate.

Idk about yall but i usually just use a 1/2 impact for axle nuts - but i do carry my snapon 250 ft lb torque wrench around in the truck. Crazy to think i got it for 170 bucks now they are 400+. Think the most ive done is 230 ft lbs and that was a PAIN to get to that spec
