That's high for your taco~! Wait...your saturn is high too! and that's a (no offense) a hooptie imho. Can you not just do liability for it?

I have full coverage on my 2020 Taco and 2017 highlander and both are 2k annually (USAA). 52 yo, no accidents or tickets worth mentioning other than a couple people rear ending me because they were drunk or asleep. I thought about doing just liability but honestly don't trust people in general. The entitlement these days are off the charts and it used to only be those with gun rights and now it's just everything. FYI, I'm not against gun rights....but there are some really bad examples out there.

I just went through this last month, ha. I was paying $1250 for 6 months with Progressive. Full coverage on both with glass coverage as well. 19 Taco and 15 Jetta, my wife and I. Both in our 40s. I just switched to Geico and now I'm paying $815 per 6 months. Same coverage on both policies, both have/had $500 deductibles.

This also depends on how much coverage you decided to get and seems like no one put that info down. I have 100/300/100 coverage + rental and all of that other stuff and a $500 deductible. I pay $550 per 6 months - State Farm

I got slammed by Geico with huge price increases. I went way down in price by going with the Costco car insurance.

Yes, tons of variables in play here including where you live. This is pretty much a meaningless discussion.

I've used Mercury Insurance for a brief time. They're cheap for a reason. Don't expect much from them if you have claim.

Ya, people keep saying full coverage but that just means you have everything and doesn't tell what your deductible is or if you have 50k or 1mil coverage which make a massive difference...

I’ve been in touch with a State Farm rep for the last 2 years and he just shot me a big rate reduction.
I pay $1,300/6 mo for Ranger & a 2018 Mini JCW through Progressive with crap coverage $1,000 ded. 50/100/50.
State Farm came back at $10 less but $0/$500 deductible 100/300/100. I may be switching!

All of them will eventually raise your rates to the amount you left your current carrier for.

So if you switch from Company-A to Company-B to save $200 a year trust me, Company-B will increase your
rate by $300 the next year and hope you don't notice it.

    Snakes all of 'em.

The Costco car insurance is through American Family. I suspect they should behave themselves a little better than average in order to keep the Costco contract. But who knows.

This, plus the state only matters so much. Goes by the city or town as well.

I get very high numbers on everything being that I own a house.

All of them are going in price. I fella a church that worked for State Farm until very recent told me that they are raising rates. He also said that State Farm in particular is currently operating in the red. They are paying out more in settlements than money coming in. He also said just wait till you get your next home owners insurance bill, you ain’t gonna like it.
