I'm sure a lot of you guys already know about this program, but in case you don't....Oakley products for a very good discounted price for military and government personnel. If your interested then visit www.usstandardissue.com and register. The only thing is you have to fax or scan a copy of your geovernment ID and send it to them, so they will be able to verify that your either military or geovernment employee.

    I don't think it's a standard discount.

example: regular Flak Jacket XLJ are $150+
    on usstandardissue $90

We use someone that is a sales rep for Oakley. All glasses are $60. He has huge sales throughout te year to get rid of his old stock. This last go around he had around 1000 pair.

They are not all 60 $. Most of them are more. for standard M frames its 60 dollars. non polarized. they have some that are cheaper and options all the way up to 150 for multiple lense combos. I got polarized fuel cells for 75 and some ballistic M frames for 65.

    x2!

Most of the sunglasses they sell are no thrills. Their boots on the other hand, are like orgasm for your feet. Too bad I got bitched out for wearing them.

Go to the website...it should tell you when you register how to send proof of government (local/state/fed) employment.

Yeah it is a Marine thing. Our boots must have the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor stamped onto the side of the boot. If you don't, then you're considered shitbag status. Even if you do something with great valor in combat and get decorated with a medal while you were wearing non-USMC approved boots, you're still a shitbag. /Marine sarcasm

There are not many USMC approved boots out there. And they all suck. Did I mention they all suck?? :(

The Oakley boots are the most comfortable things I've ever given my feet. I only wear them when I go hiking in the civilian world.

You can black out whatever you don't want shown on your ID, it's not like they are copying your SS# off the back. You can probably send them a email from your work/military address and have them approve it if you don't want to upload a picture. They're BBB approved BTW..

I have a pair of flak jackets, hard/soft cases, the silicon O cap, long and short sleeve tshirt from there all for barely over 100$. 50% on most items, 325 for a 600$ watch ain't bad either.
