Has anyone else noticed excessive tire wear on your X-RUNNER,have had to put new set on about once every year. They wear even but always wear out by about 10,000 to 18,000 miles per set. my current set is supposed to have 60,000 mile life span, i'm about to hit 20,000 on them and there bald already. 4 sets in 5 yrs have tried nitro got same wear as normal air.

have 20 inch rims and 245/35/20s dunlop sport signatures. have even wear accross the tires and rotate every 5000 miles. the stock tires lasted 10,000 miles, next was a set of 20in kumos they lasted 15,000, the yokohamas lasted 12,000. i have my allignment checked every 10,000 mi ,tire pressure is set at 45psi. sorry (nitro) ment nitrogen, but the right pedel is so much fun. my suspension good.

Its normal if you drive the truck like it otta be driven. Had mine 3 years and on my 3rd set (well 4 not counting the 1's that were on it when I got it ,but they were already trashed !! )
    1st set were Falken zeons
    2nd set Good Year Eagles
    3rd set BFGoodrich KDW's
KDW's seem to be holding up pretty good. Dont grip on the turns like the Eagles but they were an all season tire

If you drive it like a race car, then wearing out tires prematurely is all part of the consequences of having fun.

Get your wallet out and keep buying yourself new ones.

90k on my X, and on my 3rd set of tires, got the truck with 7miles on it the stockers lasted less then 7k. on my second set of KDW's.
Just depends on how hard you drive it
