What are you streaming on Amazon, Netflix, etc?

Now that I'm in a negative mood being reminded of GoT, here's a list of series on Netflix that I can't bring myself to finish, and would recommend not starting:

Badlands - Everybody gets dumb, and too soapy.
Gangs of London - Everybody also gets dumb, then the writers double down to see if they can force people to stop watching with the Kurdish girl episode. They got me to stop watching.
Dark Skies - I really want to like this, and I sense the source material is good (I haven't read the books), but the direction and writing is simply too amateur. Really expect better from AMC.
Warrior - They ripped off Bruce Lee. F' em.
Dexter - I get how this must have seemed clever in th 00's, but it has not aged well. CIS Blaa Blaa ruined forensic police dramas forever with their various crap series.
Black Sails - I was going to stop this as soon as they introduced the bar owner girl, but my wife read the series gets better, and it's just the first few episodes that are bad. Hasn't woo'd me yet, though. Might pick it up again later when bored.
1899 - I tried to give this a second chance. OMG, how could you possibly make a show more slow and boring than this?
Gyeong Seong Creature - There should be a law banning slow mo scenes in Korean shows. Puppy eye dog scenes too.

 

Hulu: Only Murders in the Building

 

Tomorrow night Friday 11/15 I will be watching the Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight!

 

Just finished The Wire on HBO. Man. HBO just nails it on their shows. Excellent is an understatement.

I stopped watching fights along time ago...possibly when Tyson was younger.

He's my age and born 2 days after my bday in June!

 

I wasn't too critical of GOT's ending; of course, I didn't read the books so I didn't know what to expect.

Dexter is the only one you mention that I've watched on NetFlix, I believe.

First Air Date was in 2006 but I didn't watch it then...I probably watched it after it finished in 2013...I'm thinking 2018-ish.

I'm thinking I'd like it the second time around for binge watching.

I can't help but think of "NIP TUCK" because of the weirdness of both shows.

 

Dexter was brilliant the first 2 seasons. Then the first big writer's strike in 2008 happened and it fell off after that, especially toward the end. The writing for his character and especially his inner dialogue narrative was so good before that happened.

They're doing a spin-off of it I've heard, about his son (not the alternate ending season that came out a few years ago).

 

The Chestnut Man NF, Danish series on a serial killer. Decent.

starting The Day of the Jackal, Peacock. One of the few books I’ve read and loved the story.

 

The Wire does deserve all the praise it gets. All the seasons are good. In the top five series of all time easy.

 

The Deuce is another great David Simon series on HBO, several Wire actors in it as well.

 

I've been going to the fights (Boxing) since I was about 8 years old. My Dad was a Ring Manager here in San Diego for 20 years. Got to see some great fights and fighters. Ken Norton, George Foreman, Mohammed Ali (Cassius Clay)

 

I've got Netflix on...looking fwd to seeing Tyson fight!!!

The Prelims were great. So far better than the main event. 1/2 way thru, Tyson is just hanging in there.

 

I fell asleep on the couch then woke up to turn tv off and went to bed.

I’ve already watched highlights this morning and won’t give it away.
