Drippy here at the moment, was a nice weekend though. Put waaayyy too much fluid film on the underside yesterday lol. I feel it today, after twisting and contorting to get it covered everywhere I can tell " I don't normally bend that way". Need more

 

Yesterday was a good day to spray! We did my wifes car, my Tundra, Friends Taco, and my dads 4runner.

Driveway smells today!

 

Found I’ve gotten too old for that!
I’m gonna pay to have mine done.

 

Yeah, I may not go too crazy next year with it, so I did heavy. Most of it was still on from last Aug when I first got it. Not doing nearly as much mileage I used to so it doesn't get washed off as much.

Torn though. This time I plastidipped the spare when it was new just as an experiment vs FFing it. It was all bubbly looking (since I did no prep at the time haha), but still looked like it was covering. I peeled it off last week and the rim looks like brand new yet. I always sprayed FF on the spares previously but they get crudded up with fine debris sticking. I started thinking that if I ever had to use the spare it may not be balanced good anymore with all the junk on it. Decisions decisions.....

Closed windows at night or I probably would not get out of bed to go to work!

 

Yeah, and the moist drizzle and breeze ain't helping either. Fall and crisp / clear is great, just not the damp. Our deck never dries now and gets slippery.
Older neighbor next door started their wood stove already, but I remember him saying his wife likes it 80 degrees inside the house year round. Oof...

 

I’ll be running the furnace this weekend just to make sure all is good before it’s actually needed.
A little to early to get the snowblower out but I’ll check it before it’s actually needed also.

Morning everyone.
Been busy too old to be busy!
Between work and putting stuff away for winter and having the grandkids got little time even for sleep.

 

Busy a bit too, if you remember my moaning about trying to get some tree work done. Finally got a young local guy to show up, did a decent job. He was a climber so "no fear" haha. He and I brought 8 trees down in one day, all 60+ feet tall. Showed up a week early as he had a cancellation, now I have lots of driveway pieces to get moved out of the way before any plowing needed. And I still have 4 more up the hill I need to get at (poor dead ash / beetles ) At least I think I also now have next winter's heat covered

 

Wooooooo..... Couldn't resist - going to be in the 20's overnight for the week so got it started.

Public Service Announcement:
In Vermont we know the winters can be dreary, wet, cold and dark. As such, there are natural remedies to help counteract these demoralizing feelings of suffering. The following holistic mixture has been prescribed to great effect in the past and should be considered at least a start to assist you in getting through the rough periods mentally and keeping you warm physically:

- Much hot cocoa
- A not insignificant amount of Carolyn's Irish Cream whiskey
- A useful amount of cinnamon powder
- An even more useful amount of cayenne pepper powder

- Mix thoroughly and apply one to two times weekly, or as necessary before going out into the snow and attempting machinations involving defying the effects of gravity///

 

Prepping the snowblower cord on pull start broke.
Tried shorting the cord it’s the type with the fingers that snap out.
Gave up and bought a replacement.
It’s got electric start but usually starts first pull just easier than plugging it in.
10 yr old Arien been a solid blower.
