    I've used the harbor freight ones on my 12k winch a few times never had an issue, metal roller. so id bet youre going to be fine

    Common advice is that it’s fine unless it’s been previously used with steel cable, in which case the roller may have burrs that can damage synthetic line.

    I also use the HF ones as-is with synthetic, no issues yet
