Posted this in the suspension section and didn't get much of a response so I figured I would try here.

Has anyone had any experience with the Wheeler's off-road lift kits? I am looking to upgrade my 3rd gen to Bilstein 6112/5160 and this kit seems like a killer deal, especially being on sale. I am not sure I am a huge fan of the leaf spring kit, I know Deaver/RTX/OME are the most desired, but it doesn't seem that I can opt for any of those. Are these leafs of similar quality and worth it? or should i piece together the parts separately and get the brands that everyone recommends?

i know you can get a pre-built front strut kit from other sites with upgraded springs, like these, but no one has such a complete kit with a u-bolt flip, carrier drop, etc. As with a lot of things, you get what you pay for and I am able to pay, but why pass up a good deal if it truly is? It's an excellent value for a turn key kit

Did you end up buying this kit? I am looking at it now and was wondering if you had any feedback?

I did get the kit, its great. I recommend it to anyone as it comes with everything you need. however i did have some drivetrain vibes that i have gotten to a good place but have still not completely solved. i have a 2017 and that leaf pack came with a small shim in it. i would recommend keeping that in case you need it ( i tossed mine with the stock pack for some reason). i have bought many sets to try and figure it out and measured all my angles countless times, but they don't make aftermarket shims small enough, so i may end up grinding down the set i have next summer to try and get it right.

the shocks are great, they just eat up bumps, the faster you go it seems the happier it is, on and off road. i also recommend not setting the fronts to the highest setting. these shocks have quite a sudden top out and its a bit startling at first.

i would purchase again in a minute.

Awesome, thank you for the feedback. Did you have to run a spacer on the front struts to level it out? What size tires are you running?

i don't have a space to level it out. You level it side to side with the different clip settings. i am running a 265/75/R16. Side note on the shims in your leaf pack. if you don't end up needing them, i will happily pay for you to send them to me.

What coil at did you go with for the front? And what set of leafs did you decide on with the kit ? Also how much lift did you get from the leafs in the rear?

I got the 700lb front springs due to winch and bumper. For the rear I got the expedition, not sure if they are the 3" or the 2.0. I have a cap that stays on the truck and my trip load warrants it. I cant remember if I am on clip #10/#8 or #9/#7. I ordered it at one height then made it lower due to constant top out. I did not take before/after measurements when I installed the lift. It currently looks like it has factory rake, just higher up.

I ordered the same kit, 700lb springs and expedition leafs. Received shipping confirmation this afternoon. Now I just need to order Lca’s and the associated parts to get the alignment straightened out and it will be good to go for awhile. Thanks again for your help!
