I understand there are many ( thousands and thousands ) of 4th Gen Tacoma's getting transmissions replaced.

 

I’d also push for an extended warranty. You HAVE lost confidence in Toyota’s reputation for building reliable vehicles.

A few other reports as well, one of them listed numbers into the thousands but these reports don't,

That 's just not going to happen,it is a warranty repair and that will be the end of Toyotas involvement.

 

there have been plenty of folks who have gotten an extended warranty from Toyota after something like this.
