:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Wow, and chilly morning, and one more tomorrow. Nicely in the 70's today, then warming again. Have a call with some "care" group that's going to assist my recovery by emails and phone calls. Oh boy! Then, I'm seriously going to get after the greenhouse!

And the cardiologist nurse just messaged that my Echo got reviewed, and my "heart squeeze remains normal, which is great news."

    Afternoon all:
Should I or shouldn't I, that was the question!
Had a doe feeding in front of me for over an hour at around 20 yds, fun to watch and let her walk! When I walked into the spot a nice buck took off near where I was planning on sitting, I figured a live decoy may bring him back, didn't happen, but we also saw 2 other doe take off right when we got out of the vehicle, we finally found some deer with just over a week left in the season.

My fishing buddy Jim got super lucky, he has a .350 Rem. Mag. 600 Remington that he wants to hunt bear with. He knew they could fire when the safety is pushed off and they had a recall on them to fix the triggers, he cycled it and EVERYTIME he pushed the safety off it fired., not good, and since Remington went bankrupt the recall went the way of the Dodo, only option is a Timney trigger as a replacement, which he really didn't want but seemed like the only available option.
Since I also have them I was looking on a lot of sites for info. on them and saw Ebay mentioned, went on Ebay and there was a NOS upgraded trigger for it, it has a V on it and that's the replacement one that Remington installed in them which has to be scarce as hens teeth. Called him, told him about it, and he said he had to go to a meeting and would look at it and buy it after the meeting. NOS,scarce as hens teeth, reasonable price, BETTER GRAB IT NOW! I bought it and will square up with him when I get it, it's his trigger.
After reading a lot about the trigger problem with them, quite a few said that a lot of the problem is caused by not cleaning the trigger mechanism and that it may be dirty or gummed up, or the trigger pull is too light due to the adjustment screw backing out. That might be an easy fix, but the factory replacement trigger with the V is a sure fix, better safe than sorry!

I still have an old REM 78 (cheap 700) in 30-06. It will still shoot 1/2” groups with my handloads. It has taken elk, mule deer, whitetail, hogs, coyotes, antelope, turkey, grouse, rabbits, and I think that’s it. It’s bolt doesn’t lock down on safe.
Granddaughter has a fine old REM 700 BDL in 222 from the locked down on safe bolt era. Now it’s a real shooter clustering 3 shots like a clover leaf!

Good morning all you old timers! Kettlebell day here! 53* high and partly sunny! Nice!
Trash and recycle day. That works since there’s two raccoons who have passed on. Man are they fat! Hopefully this will reduce the amount of raccoon poop I have to shovel off my walkway.

There’s been a poster up about a missing cat. Took a photo of him in my backyard where I see him stalking birds or squirrels about once a week. He looked healthy. If they don’t want to lose him, they should keep him inside like a dog. Too many wild critters around to let a loved pet roam. I occasionally see foxes and coyotes in our neighborhood. Bobcats and mountain lions have also been reported.

Make this a great day everyone!

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Whoo! 39* overnight, and I thought I would get a coffee, then throw the greenhouse cover back on before the vents opened up. Hah! As soon as the sun hit them, up they started, and it's already 60*. So, I have to move faster (LOL!), or unbolt them so stay down - which is a pain. We'll see. Have to get more clean up done there, because I'm running out of time. Worked it until it was too hard to get up yesterday.

Also, have to put in a new GFCI breaker in the pool panel. Wife wanted pool light on for her party, and it would not. Already dark, so I got as far as learning the breaker tripped. Next morning looking at the light - seems OK - so I tested the breaker with the load OFF, and it would still trip. I'm going to hope that it failed because I don't want to do the light again, and I'm not getting in the pool for sure!

    Afternoon all:

I know they had the same problem with the 700's but never knew they had a recall on them.
I have numerous 700's along with 600's and 660's and never had a problem with any of them, I did get the 600 and 660 triggers replaced for free under the recall by Remington on those particular models.

Sat at the same spot this morning where I saw deer yesterday and saw nothing!

Well good news, the new breaker works properly. The bad news is that the light still trips it. The good news is I DID buy an Assurion warranty. The bad news is that it has to come out one way or another.

    On to the greenhouse.

I might be slow, but I'm not fast either. Dead veggies dumped into trash bags, swept out the floor, managed to use the step stool ONLY ONCE in getting down the panels, moved the shelves from one side to the other while working, and got it all up - just as my hip said NO MORE TRIPS!

Yeah, you've seen it before. I have to drain the tanks, pull down the drips (ladder avoidance!), put the heater equipment in, and get the cover on. Then, plants will come in.

Good morning. Question for @Tacoma Mike or anyone else that has this issue. I need to find out what may be causing this problem: In our 2017 Avalon Touring sedan the TPMS light comes on and when that happens there is no tire pressure displayed for all 4 tires. The problem happens intermittently then the TPMS system works fine. The tire pressure in all 4 tires is normal and not below 32PSI. I cannot seem to find an answerer on the internet. I cannot find the module which reports the tire pressure to the computer to turn on the TPMS light on the dashboard. Any help will be appreciated.
