I was gonna slap another set of Michelin Defenders on the 350 but the 15 mi dirt road to the gf' ranch with snow warrants a more aggressive tire. now idk if I want the falkens or toyos

 

If you had tons and 40s you wouldn’t have that problem

A little smarter configuration and I'd have been able to limp it home. I was smoke screening too daymn bad. Didn't have a way to block the oil return from back feeding the turbo -- good pressure is good.

Lost the turbo in the best possible way. :shrug:

yupppp...lesson learned. would have made it home if I had one.

At least I just stole the turbo about to go on the 4runner and now she's back and running in just a couple hours.

Honestly I'm trying to get a Tacoma or 4Runner and turbo it. I think he'd have a ton of fun. I keep showing him your build thread but he hasn't taken the bait yet.

 

So, I don't know your friend but my one and only fear would be the initial tune for getting it road ready to start pulling some logs

After that, you'll find me in the driver seat all day with the laptop
