Well thanks to @Milota95 @XPOTRPR we got the 2nd engine back in the truck on Saturday after being down for 22 months. The plan is to start it Friday evening if anyone wants to come kick it! Shout out to @bad_guac for coming by last weekend and helping me get a bunch of accessories installed!

Just before the big moment... Of panic when an idler pulley started screaming. Which was just before the other big moment... When half a gallon of premium fuel was discovered on the floor 10ft from the lit grille...

Lol! Such a great night and feeling of finishing up our first motor swap ourselves. I love that Andrew handled this whole thing for his first time like a pro... Multiple oil pan swaps and seals, timing cover, etc.. and it was that 1 seized idler on the tensioner that ended up being the only issue. I say it was a massive success.. it started up and ran beautifully after that. And she rips for sure!

It was all a big learning adventure that I was happy to go on with my buddies! Really couldn't be happier with how it all turned out for how long the truck has set and most of this being my first time. Found out yesterday the alternator is dead so I am going to replace that with an OEM one this week when all the new pullies get here. Then emissions and bingo bango we are driving daily again!

Pretty dang impressed by the solid motor mounts, you can tell on start up there's something different now.

Yo @prise did your new motor come with the serpentine belt tensioner? Replaced all the idler pulleys on the x today only to find out that the noise seems to be coming from the tensioner pulley. Pulled the pulley and it needs a new bearing and reverse thread bolt. Might just do the bearing swap if I can find it local but the bolt has seen better days. Gotta buy the whole stupid assembley if I want a new pulley, bearing, bolt etc..... figured I'd ask since you may have one sitting around.....

Also, being the bolt and nut guy.... where the fawk can I find that reverse and kinda coarse thread bolt if I do just replace that bearing in the pulley? It's an odd one

Initial thoughts is yes on the X get those suckers. He said a few years ago there wasn't much of a point to make a solid trans mount for the MT if I remember correctly. He might have changed his mind with enough pressure.
If the dealership doesn't sell the bolt by itself I would have to get on McMaster-Carr and look for it after getting the thread pitch. OR a pick and pull OR have a buddy with an extra engine in his garage that will give you his spare bolt! Hit me up and let's link up soon! I think I am gone while y'all are in town for Thanksgiving...

Let me check my stuff too. I had to do all that not too long ago.. I swapped in all new bearings and snapped that tensioner bolt so I had to replace the whole tensioner assembly.. that's not fun. I may have spare parts... May also have that info in my build or pictures.. I'll dig up some info.

I may have an extra tensioner pulley with bearing in it.. I just checked all what I had. It might be it. I'll verify tonight. I can't find the bolt tho.. I was gonna take it in and check, but I swear I found that info on here. I'll try and dig that up.

@05tacomabro That tensioner pulley with the LH threads is a M14.. that's all I can remember. I do have part numbers for you if you need them for the bearings, including the one for the tensioner. I also found a leftover pulley with fresh bearing and I THINK it may be from the new tensioner I bought.. or this is the one I rebuilt and I just left the new OEM pulley on the tensioner since I had to replace the whole assembly anyways (that M14 LH thread tensioner bolt snapped at far less ft-lbs then what factory called for FYI). I'll send you a pic of the pulley...
