2LM PnP - Plug and play 2WD low range for the 3rd gen. Tacoma

I was wondering what switch are you guys using from AOB if you got one of the 1.25" smaller one for below the 4wd knob in the center?

Unless I am missing something the 2wd low one that they offer is only for the larger spots.

 

They screwed up the website and made it impossible to find without searching. Searching SW978NB ought to get you where you need, assuming you want the blue that is similar to stock.

Yep, I bought a second one recently and had to dig way back into my old emails from the first purchase to find the number. I probably wouldn’t have been able to find it otherwise.

 

What did you get a second one for a spare?

 

I had 2L a couple years ago, regeared deeply, sold it and the switch because I no longer needed it. Mainly because I didn’t like how it functioned out of the box, and so when I got the regear it was enough for me to ditch it since I no longer truly needed it.

Then I realized I could fix the things I didn’t like (mostly the error message if you shift back to 2wd before unclicking the switch), so I bought another 2L kit, reworked it to my liking, and then needed a second switch.

Sales of the 2LM harness will end 3/31/2025. I will be retaining some stock to handle installation issues, repairs, and replacements as required. This decision was made based on a number of factors, which I will not get into here. At some point in the future I may resume operation but I can not guarantee it.
