    I have AllState..... It's free to repair rock chips. So I just called Safelite auto glass and they will fix it for free. Insurance said they would rather have me fix the chip if possible instead of replacing the whole thing. :D.

    Seems reasonable, never underestimate the laws of cali, they probably have a check box to blame non renewable energy for the rock and you'll get a tax deduction and can buy into a windmill company
