Tom, did you check the spare TPMS? Otherwise I have no clue.

It’s going to be another gorgeous day in the neighborhood! Low 50s and sunny. Awesome! Outside day if the winds don’t get up.

Wishing everyone a great day! Spend it wisely.

    IIRC
the receiver might be in left side panel by the rear window. (C post)
Ecu maybe around the rt kick panel/ glove box.
Of course the tpms sensors are ok cause 4 woukd not go out and back on at once.
    Poss. causes.
    Bad Ecu
    Bad Receiver
    Mice
    Water intrusion

Unless it dies, it’s a guess.
    Even then, it’s a guess.
    Just more Gov. Bullshit.

    Funny.
My TPMS light came on yesterday.
I pulled my pressure capsule out from behind my back seat and added 10 pounds to it and
Stuffed it back into the back storage compartment.

Happy Saturday all. Been spending a lot of time instructing a young woman to use guns, every aspect of gun handling. This young woman is the daughter of a good friend. She’s 38 years old, a college professor , PhD in a scientific discipline, divorced. She’s one of the nicest sweetest people I’ve ever met. I’m preparing her to get her concealed carry permit. Long story short a former student stocked her a couple years ago and spent 2 years in prison for it. He recently got out and a judge took him off probation/parole. Within 2 weeks he was seen on campus. There’s a restraining order against him. Police charged him with numerous felonies. He is literally psychotic. He was arrested and is out is out on bail. The local sheriff advised her to get a ccw permit and start carrying and he said he would expedite the process for her. The sheriff, local police and campus police are all very aware of the situation and all are keeping a close eye on her. Patrolling her neighborhood constantly, campus police walk her too and from classes. One female police Sargent told her she could stay at the Sargents house. My job is her gun instructor. Prior to 30 years ago I was a certified NRA pistol instructor. Never professionally instructed. Anyway I’ve been spending a great deal of time instructing her, all aspects. Gun safety, different guns and calibers, grip, draw, stance, etc etc etc. she’s now fired more than 1000 rounds. I think next week she’ll do her range test for her ccw. One other thing I’ve been training her is situational awareness. I think this is often overlocked.
The psycho is wearing an ankle gps but that isn’t going to stop him. A 9mm will though. We don’t know when his court appearance is or what will happen. She’s gotten quite good and is totally into shooting now. So that’s what I’ve been up to lately. I pray she never has to use her gun but if she does I pray every round is center body mass.
For those who still work have a great weekend, for those retired everyday is Saturday. Be safe.

    Afternoon all:

Hope she never has to use it either Ken, BUT, better safe than sorry, even with police vigilance they can't protect her 24/7.

3 of us hunting today, not a tail!
Saw another hunter where I was sitting today and got to talk to him, he said that I was where his buddy hunts during rifle season and that his buddy had a trail cam up near where we park. He told me there were pics. of 3 different buck on the camera, all at night, looks like I got lucky seeing the one during the day.

I hope that training is nothing more than a long term benefit to her, @Sprig, and need not be tested except at the range.

Kinda weird that dogs need to be leashed, and cats can be roaming freely.

Totally didn't strain myself by draining some water tanks, and replacing thermometer batteries. Oh, I exercised by being animated watching the Horns game!

Actual day off yesterday. Time is short, don't want to waste it. Sometimes though, we'll sit by the fire for hours and just enjoy, count our blessings. Off to pick up a grocery order this am, maybe order another box of fireplace logs... best way to enjoy the fireplace... no saws, splitters, storage, etc. Easy day. Hope yours is, as well.

Mike: Thank you. This is a decent starting point to fix the problem. I sure do hope it is not mice!

Good morning. Off to the gym in an hour then I will clip the claws of our neighbor's cat. Her husband passed a year ago and we do some of the chores he used to do. Yesterday I was sidetracked with replacing the exhaust fan in the downstairs bathroom. Wife wanted it completed before Thanksgiving, and she rarely asks me to put a project to the top of the list. Only took 2 and a half hours with one trip to HD for the fan. Of course, there was no direct replacement fan for the old 30-year-old fan that had already been fixed twice. My son did most, read all, the work.

So glad you are helping this young lady. It's good that she is getting the prep she needs for being a responsible gun owner and ccw. So many woman are targets for perverts, psycho etc. May she never have to use the skills you taught her, but she is prepared. There are several widows in my neighborhood that are afraid of or anti gun so I tell them to get a good Louisville slugger to keep handy by the bed at night for the chance to ward off an attach during a break-in. Will it work ????.
Has the young lady chosen an edc yet so she will be ready? Bought the wife an S&W 9mm Shield EZ. Easy to rack and a little less recoil and she is quite accurate with it up to 10 yards. So many choices out there but I'm sure you will give her guidance. Hats off to you Ken.

    Have a great day.

    Good Morning Folks.
A lot has been going on in my life here so that is one reason for the sabbatical. I think, hope I am back on. The week before last, was a bad week in the neighborhood which opened my eyes to life is to short and precious to be in a funk. Within a week and a half, four residents all passed away, one being a dear friend of mine. He was in Florida enjoying life, he called me on Saturday to say he was in the hospital because he broke his hip and was having surgery to replace it. I got a call on Wednsday morning from his lady friend who told me he was in bad shape, got another call he might not make it through the night and a call on Thursday that he passed away. Long story short, he had the surgery no problem but an infection set in and he had a heart issue so he had a heart attach that he survived but they couldn't get the infection under control. Live life to the fullest, No guarantees it will be there tomorrow.

So with that, I wish you all a very good Sunday morning and be safe out there.

    Morning all:

Just thought of something, the guy I talked to yesterday mentioned the silver Dodge Ram Charger with the 2 old guys who are out hunting, that be us, seems like everyone who hunts the area knows that vehicle.
This may be the last year that they will see the Ram Charger, my hunting buddy's body is pretty well worn out and there's no reason to aggravate everything that causes him even more pain, especially when there's no reward beating himself up. :(
Even if we manage to get a deer, he probably will miss a few days of hunting because he will really be in pain from getting it out, that's not fun! :(:(
Will see, there is a time to quit which is totally up to him. I think I would have quit a few years ago if I had the pain that he does, it's hard to quit doing something that you love to do though.

Just saw your post Ken, sorry to hear that you lost a dear friend, really stinks though about how he ended up passing after breaking a hip and then an infection did him in after the surgery, sounds like something that would happen during the Civil War era but not today!
Yea, no doubt that life is short, and at this stage of the game it's even shorter, think of a huge hourglass with not much sand left in it, now if only we could turn it around and start all over, we all know that ain't happening!

Glad to see you back Ken  Just had my hip replaced three weeks ago and the surgeon was VERY concerned about infection. Didn't really think much about it till I read your post. I'm going to consider myself very lucky and subscribe to the old saying..."Every day above ground is a good day"
And to the other Ken @Sprig Thank You sooo much for doing this. I hate that someone who would terrorize a woman can walk freely among us. Hoping the good lord watches over her
Wife and I moved to SC back in July (from NJ) I do love it here and it is significantly more retirement friendly. But, I am already missing the four seasons
    Have a great day all
