    I hate that game.

the HOA didn’t notice my truck had no engine for 6 months, but noticed the jack stand when my ecgs tool broke and it was one corner off the ground for 2 days.

    Ok,
So first time turning bypass tubes. Screwing the Allen in on the compression adjuster makes it less soft, and screwing the Allen out on the compression adjuster makes it more soft?

I’m not even sure what to do with the rebound tubes.

Sort of. You’re bypassing the valving on the piston while the piston is in each bypass zone. So you’re increasing and decreasing flow around the piston.

Yup, I’ve been watching a couple videos, but wasn’t sure which direction you turn the Allen key to allow more or less flow around the piston. Still clueless on rebound. Adjusting rebound would probably solve any packing issues?

Yeah you got the directions correct. And yeah, adjusting rebound will help with packing issues as well as can help with bucking. A lot less intuitive to adjust than compression. I always try to have some sort of video playback to review before adjusting rebound so you have a better understanding of exactly what’s happening.

The 3.0’s in the rear are a little bouncy on the street. Probably need to pull the compression Allen out a little bit, not sure where the previous guy was running them.

I haven’t even started to think about tuning the 4 tubes on the wife’s raptor. I’m thinking a cinders trip when it warms up to get both truck dialed in lol

Nah I got some OEM length 3.0 2 tube bypasses for the rear of the 3rd gen. The trd pro foxes were fucked. I couldn’t compress them by hand, and once I got them to compress, they wouldn’t rebound at all. Probably gonna Get them rebuilt and sold.

always take notes (subjective is okay, better than nothing) before and after making any adjustments, you'll lose track of what setting you had at what point REAL fast!

I’m over here just wanting to invent electronically controlled screws. Adjustment on the fly. What works best for me on dirt isn’t best on street, but I’m far too lazy to adjust screws in between.

Little bit of machining some adapters, and a little bit of programming a Raspberry Pi, and you could have some servos do everything you want. Have off and on road presets, as well as adjust them individually on the fly.

Which begs the question. If it’s that easy why is nobody doing it?
