You are confusing "Nokian" from Finland with "Nankang" from Taiwan. It is the latter company that makes Milestar tires. They have opened a US plant not long ago.

I wasn’t a fan of the OEM “graphite” color of my grill because I didn’t think it went well on an all white/black truck and I didn’t want to join the trd pro grille club so I found a matte black OEM style one on eBay for $75 and then picked up a matte black decal for the TSS sensor cover, the TSS still works just fine.

Sorry but since Bridgestone is currently the largest minority shareholder of Nokian, I'm sure that had something to do with Nokian making some tires in my home state and only about 168ish miles from the new plant in TN..

But you are correct that Milestar tires are made by the Nankang Rubber Tire Corporation.
So both company's have at least one plant in the US...

    Dayton Tennessee, United States factory
    [edit]
In May 2017, Nokian announced the construction of a new factory in Dayton, Tennessee, with an annual production capacity of 4 million tyres. The facility would employ about 400 people, cost €330 million to build, and expected to start production by 2020.[84][82] In addition to producing tires, the facility would house an on-site distribution facility with a storage capacity of 600,000 units. The company expects to double its North American sales by 2023.[85] Nokian began hiring workers for the plant in February 2019, and sent its first group of employees for training to its Finnish and Russian factories in May 2019. The Dayton plant officially opened on 2 October 2019. The company plans to have up to 150 employees by the end of the year.[85][86][87]

No more beeps and dings from the truck. Now it can't nag me about stuff lol. So much noise from a small speaker. A video I watched showed philips heads holding the gauge cluster together. Mine had torx/star screws.

A fine mod, that beep annoys the bejeesus out of me too.

I wonder if a piece of duct tape over that sound hole would make the tone more palatable?

With a little help from Mother I hand rubbed it down today, after a good hand washing yesterday. Looks clean again. Feels like a fresh wax no stubble

Thought I would test out the noco Genius 2 on the battery, which is pretty new, maybe one year old and looks like it's charging and it is now optimizing, I wonder what the heck optimizing is.? Does anybuddy know?

Okay mystery somewhat solved, but I still don't know how a battery charger can affect 'gravity', and 'recapture capacity'. :notsure:

Installed Rough Country seat covers. That was a bitch.
Installed mount to rear accessory rail to mount my shovel to so it's not bouncing around the bed. Ended up completely removing the rail to get the brackets installed. Not bad
Installed Homelink mirror from Bob's. Very easy.

Cheap plastic like everywhere else on the truck that toyota uses mine is fading as well and i am above average with keeping the thing clean. Pretty sure you would have to replace the entire mirror, not worth it 2-3 years later it will start looking the same

Yesterday I scored a set of Gen 3 OEM running boards on FB MarketPlace for a wallet friendly $250 and got them mounted up today. Also some other unexciting updates since purchasing my rig last month: Blendmount mirror radar detector mount w/mirror tap harness, OEM mudflaps and last but not least, a Lift'D Customs gas cap holder.

Optimized battery charging is generally when the charger adjusts the input based on how fully charged the battery is. Applying a high charge to a full battery can reduce its longevity; trickle charging the whole time doesn't suit our impatience well. The big paragraph 8 seems like a lot of marketing words for a concept used by most quality electronics.

303 is about the best product to use on the plastics. Apply after a wash when the plastics are free from debris. It is something you have to keep up with but it will prolong the look and integrity for years. One great thing about these trucks is keeping them clean is easy due to their smaller size.

That helps and makes sense that charger shouldn't be charging at full tilt when it is 99.9% fully charged. The frustration is exactly that, the marketing words salad is non explanatory. Too many words salad in my life lately.

Thanks. I got 303, I'll try it on these parts, I thought it was for rubber boots only, thanks for the nudge.
