Well not sure I believe most of those websites. I'd go by what vehicles are typically still on the road with the highest mileage on original drivetrain.

 

JD power is a joke.

in their dependability study, the biggest category of problems is infotainment. Things like speech recognition, number of usb ports, and old gps maps drag companies down, meanwhile shit engines are just a small part of the overall score.

 

Well, you have to use something as a measuring stick, so until you guys can come up with something better. This is what we have, take it or leave it, sounds like some of you need to create your own database and prove all of them wrong.

If people's main complaint is the infotainment system, shouldn't that be included? Where did you read the powertrain category is "a small part of the overall score?"

 

Why would you trust some crap companies data chart that are getting paid by manufactures and receiving gifts.

JD Power was purchased in 2019 , their ratings are based on highest funding now, not reliability.

I just presented the chart. And in no way shape or form is that my personal opinion or knowledge, you can either read it and view it or you can move on.

 

What about consumer report? Not current year data, just asking if they are more trustworthy.

Huge swings for Jeep and Honda/Acura when you compare JD Power and Consumer Reports, but Toyota/Lexus is consistently at the top and Ford is consistently near the bottom.
