I have had a heck of a time trying to replace mine. Can’t seem to break it loose….even sprayed PB Blaster on two separate occasions. I don’t want to strip the threads. It’s so weird this is happening because it appears to be such a straight forward process.

Winter prep…fluid film and the coilover covers. Frames not looking bad considering it’s been through 13 salt covered winters.

Good to know…appreciate the feedback. I’ll probably make another attempt to swap it this weekend.

Mine felt pretty tight so I opted to use some extensions and a swivel to get my 1/2" impact on it and it came right off. The vibration always seems to help free stuff up with less actual force.

Did you use black Fluid Film or the original?

Fluid film black, my frame is black as it is even before the black fluid film. No signs of flaking chipping…absolutely nothing! :)

He is a sweetheart unless it’s around the house. Super protective!

What light mounts are you using in your ARB bumper? I would love to upgrade mine.

I just did the exact same thing yesterday. I like the Pro insert, but I don't think they look as good on the 2.5 Gens as they do on the 3rd Gens. Now what would be cool is if they could add TACOMA in place of the "T" on the factory insert design. I would buy that in a second. The lines on the factory insert flow with the hood lines.

The same shit everyone else has.
    Changed the oil again.

    And did a little math.

This was the 36th oil change I’ve done on this truck since I bought it in ‘13.

I believe so. I will hopefully try again this weekend if it’s not raining.

Haven't posted in here in forever it seems. Finally did something to the truck today. @AllTacosFloat hooked me up with a Ambient Temperature Gauge and Sensor. Something that's been on my mod list for years. Still have to paint it, calibrate it and sort some other things out but I'm super stoked to have this piece in there.
