1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

I ran the plain Toyo RT on the Tacoma for my last set of 35s, they kicked ass in mud and when we got a foot of snow I was the only one out on the roads... Not a big fan of how they did in rain/light snow though.

The RT trail looks interesting, I was hoping to stay away from more aggressive but it definitely has an advantage when you're in the muck.

Nitto just released a new tire that I've been mulling over because Discount said they can't get Falkens or Toyos due to national backorder. Look like they would probably do alright

 

Is mounting hardware included

Monday is Violence Day

 

I've been eyeing those for the van. I'll have to replace my current terra grapplers in a year and hoping those work well like the previous gen. I may be too lenient on them, as I know I struggle for grip in mud and lateral grip in snow and mud is iffy, especially in the rear, I assume it's the weight I have that's the issue not the tire (since the front manages to stay planted). If you get them I would be interested in your impression of them.

I kind of like it. I funded one that looks like a performa too at one point I don't know if it ever got put into production though.

 

I'm too lazy to cut away and/or mod a case to fit my modern components - that and a lot of cases are just overpriced so

Before this season I honestly wasn’t sure if he had enough left in the tank to do it before he retired but he’s definitely proving that wrong

 

I want whatever he's taking. He's found the fountain of youth. I feel like it is going to happen right before the end of the season.

 

I think that fountain is just called being Russian. Russian machine never break. At least not admittedly.

 

The season is early, like really early.

 

It’s early but not that early. End of Dec is the halfway point of the regular season. He’s only 27 goals away from breaking Gretzkys record which could easily happen by the end of the season.
Granted he nor anyone else will come close to touching Gretzkys overall points record, it’s crazy to think that if you took away all of Gretzkys goals he’d still hold the NHL points record for assists alone.
