Thanks gentlemen, at this point all signs are positive; my PSA dropped to undetectable levels back in September, before I even started my radiation treatments, and my Oncologist is confident I have many more years ahead of me.

Thinking back to my previous post, here is a shot of my 42 year old Trek 728; this bike is a relatively heavy (compared to modern standards) Reynolds 531 manganese–molybdenum, medium-carbon steel frame; at this point pretty much the only components still original (in addition to the frame) are the crank, the seat post, the handlebars and stem, and the fork.

That's a handsome bike! But you're right, they've gotten incredibly light over the past 10 or 15 years. Incredibly expensive too! My wife and I used to ride a lot -- 8K to 10K miles a year for many years, doing amateur racing and ultra-distance 'randonneur' events. Stopped riding seriously about 20 years ago, and pretty much stopped altogether about 10 years back. But my wife is riding again, now with an e-bike, which has made a big difference in our hilly part of the world. I tried her bike and it actually felt fun to be on a bike again, much to my surprise! So I got one too. Just a week ago. Rode it once so far due to weather, hope to get it out today for a bit.

    Afternoon all:

Geez Dale, 2,000 stomach crunches !
Sort of good to hear you are getting through the treatment with minimal fuss and discomfort, better than having a lot of discomfort! :(
    :fingerscrossed: for you!!!

At least you can look back at the 20 years of racing with pride Mike, there comes a time for everything but I'm sure you will have your fingers in something somehow related to it. :)
I think you forgot to close the back door and the old man snuck in, there are telltale signs if he did!

Talking about the weather, we have a no burn ordinance in effect because everything is so dry, we have had very little rain, and the creeks, springs, and reservoirs are getting pretty low with quite a few springs being completely dry.

    Thanks @wdb and @boatswain!

Yeah, doing them sucks, but I'd much rather do that than drink Milk of Magnesia.

2000 stomach crunches? Good on you Dale. Me, I can’t even count to 2000, but I’m pretty good at drinking beer.

We have an atmospheric river heading our way starting tomorrow. Will be boat loads of rain for the next 5 days and wind. Highs in the 50’s. I know I’m weird but I actually like inclement weather. Always have. Must be my Nordic ancestry . Best duck hunting I’ve ever experienced has been has been in the most horrendous weather. Going to call a buddy and see if he’s up for a little waterfowling.

Sorry you guys are hanging up your driving gloves. He all recovered from his surgery?

Wow. Hope the radiation does it's job and you get a clean bill of health real soon, Dale.

What'd you get?? I've been thinking of getting one.

 evening gang. Hope the nasty weather isn't too nasty for you guys.

A little something every chance we get.
For some reason, tonight's variety show is cracking me up.
It's crowded in there, and I didn't set the controller right, but I'll square that up tomorrow. Spring plant sale!

Yes he is. TY for asking..
Just as fast as he was before so it’s got nothing to do with that.
The effort vs reward ratio is getting too high to be fun.

Good morning. Life is finally back to normal after being a voting judge and the medical appointments. Not much on the schedule today. Gym, music lesson, quick BJ's club run, haircut, and unclogging a sink drain.

Good Morning Folks :hattip:. Only item on the list for today is a haircut. The lady that cuts my hair was sick for my last appointment so I have 2 months of growth and the wifey started calling me "Shaggy". If it was the 60's, I'd keep it :D.

Have a great Wednesday all and be safe.
