    Thanks for that.

The inventory entry for the side-specific release states it is for G43x/48, but the "starter kit" (S15 magazine, release) contains an "undisclosed type" release. Very odd.

If you're looking at the shield arms s15 starter kit that contains one of their mag releases and a single mag...that one should be reversible

This is a big one for me... My Dad would never believe that one day his West German made P228 he bought new back in the early 90s would have a threaded barrel and a suppressor on it. Made a lot of memories with this thing growing up. Him and my Grandpa who bought a P226 got them at the same time back when my Dad worked as a salesmen for Davidson's (main distributor for Ruger here in Az). He'd love that I still use it and gave it a little bit of love. Suppressor height sights coming this week. Crimson Trace laser grips are from him back in the early 2000's.

Also, scored a sweet trade deal for a Sig 556 Classic lower with the folding stock for my P556. Got it submitted and engraved to finish off my Sig 556 SBR build. My dream gun is complete..

    Recommendations on truck/possibly-also-carry holsters ...

Victory 4x4 has a center console molle panel (1 each side) with a 45-degree slanted slot for holster. Cali Raised has a center console molle pair as well with just rectangular sections. Looking at the bulky OWB plastic holster it would likely be a stretch for it to fit insode the moll-spaces on either, but defintely not in the angles slot on the Victory panel.

What brand of holster is both worth the money and fits in the spaces/slots on molle panels? Possibly part of a "system" that has option to carry outside of the truck.

I just stuff mine, in the holster, in-between the center console and drive seat. Easily accessible still. Not as visible. No modifications necessary.

That's if it's not just in my waist..

    Same crap everyone else got
I have a console vault for when it has to stay there while I'm not in the truck. For driving my wet okole seat covers have a pouch down between my knees that is made to hold a pistol.

I've had a Delton AR-15 now for a few years.Great gun, I put an inexpensive Red Dot scope on it and it can hit 400 yards all day long.
Stupid me, I made it "California Compliant" so in order to remove the magazine I have to break it open every time-charging handle does not lock back now.
Supposedly there is an additional "fix" to correct this. Most of the guys I know blew off the modifications for "California Compliant". My other option was to register my
Delton as an Assault Rifle. Didn't want to do that...I should have pretended I was "uninformed" and just left things alone.

    Whole lotta stuff
Charging handle? Or do you mean the bolt hold open on last round/manual bolt catch? Charging handle just rides the bolt carrier, shouldn’t have any sort of lock on it. I’m not an expert on those break-open systems. I’ve had the bullet button on mine. My Dads first AR is a Del-ton and it just runs. Great value gun.

Charging handle used to lock open. I have a bullet button but in order to engage it and drop the magazine I have to break open the gun. I really like my Delton, I'd like it even more if I didn't screw it up
    making it California Compliant!
