It depends on the kind of help.

Are talking about "I'm about to climb up a lopsided wobbly ladder to clen the gutters".
And if I fall, I might some help to call an ambulance?

In that case, yes. I'll ask for your help to dial 911.

Wish you found those numbers in the casino, you would’ve been a richer man. :D

    Morning
Snowblower parts should be rolling in today.
Something to do. Get space back in the geerarge.
    TPMS shit the bed yesterday.
So now to decide how I’m going to jury rig the sensor batteries.
At least they aren’t in the tires.

    They still exist?!?!?!

Spent a good chunk of my formative years pulling parts to keep my first few cars running. Loved the experience.

All of the ones I knew of have cleared out. Who knows, maybe with the help of some environmental superfunds…

Glad some are still around

    Good morning everyone :hattip:

In my youth they drove/pulled the cars just as they came in out to the "yard" which was grass and mud.
If someone removed a radiator the coolant just drained on the ground.

Modern yards all "process" the vehicle first: fluids drained, batteries, jacks & bulk trash removed, lug nuts broke free (usually). The yards are graded & graveled with the vehicles on stands.

Some years a go I took a trip to this huge yard billed as "worlds largest U-Pull it":

We had a huge yard between Oakhurst Ca and Mariposa Ca in the 80’s. I used to get parts and recaps there. There was no organization and parts were laying everywhere. It was during the days of Cal Worthington. I remember me and a buddy decided to film a mock commercial for a church party, so I donned my best Cowboy outfit and headed out to the pick a part found a car that had clearly been in an accident. They had put a tarp on it and held it down with a rim and a/c pump. We started filming “Hi Im Cal Worthington standing in front of acres and acres and rows and rows of fine used cars” “like this baby, it’s a 76 Ford Maverick with the power 302 engine. Come on by today and I throw in the car cover and ac for free”. Ever time I drive by a yard I laugh just thinking about it.
