Wired the gauges and ran the wires to the engine bay. No sensors hooked up yet. Still need a few pieces.

 

Finally put a new set of wheels and tires on the Tacoma 315 75 r16. F5 16x8 -25

 

Absolutely nothing wrong with that color! Great looking truck all the way around.

 

Not sure how you did it, but the proportions are fantastic. The tires don’t look way oversized. The colors work. I’ve tried to keep my truck looking mostly stock, but you’re making me reconsider my life choices. Nice work!

 

We've had a Peragon cover on our Ram for about three years now. It's been pretty solid, but we did have a roller break. I reached out to their customer support and they sent me the replacement parts and even the rivet gun to install them (they had asked if I owned one, and I didn't, so they sent it, too) all under warranty. Solid support!

That said, we've definitely found that it is NOT waterproof. Water-resistant...maybe, but it ultimately gets a fair amount of moisture in the bed in rain. Granted, we lived the last three years in Kodiak, AK, and rain seemed neigh perpetual at times, so maybe it was more of a quantity issue.

yeap. it is not waterproof. thats true. but secure and lightweight! nice to hear that they have solid warranty we can rely!

Installed Rough Country seat covers yesterday. For $200, really pleased with how these fit, feel, and look.

Install was conceptually easy, but took some significant elbow grease to get everything to look uniform.

RC made a good compromise between ease of sliding in/out (cannot use the edge of the seat anymore!) and not moving once you are fully set in place. And aside from the small corner gaps near the seat-back I feel confident the cloth underneath is protected.

 

I strained to hide the small corner gaps. Still just slightly visible, but hard to see with the naked eye. This was definitely a function over fashion buy for me. I spilt two drinks before finally caving to covers.

 

I would have used some scotch guard and only drink from a good sippy type cup before I did that. Looks really nice though.

 

For me the problem is "Arizona summers". Get into the truck after a 10 mile hike and 3000 ft of elevation climb ... I cannot just trust a large towel to this operation.

 

I failed to mention the propensity for swamp ass here in central Texas. Also, the blacked out nature these covers provide is such an aesthetic improvement to the grey parts of OEM seats.
