I guess HS has become a big deal or is returning to its past glory. I remember my neighbor, who was the same age, growing up had a bunch of cousins that lived there. They would come and spend a few weeks in the summer with us. They were big partiers. They weren't trouble. Just ran with a bunch of people who partied all of the time. After I grew up and had my own car, I would go there for the lakes or for some party at one of the downtown hotels. I put on a bunch of weight from drinking all of the time in those days. Somehow the morning after headaches got old and I had moved on to a healthier lifestyle.

https://www.nps.gov/hosp/learn/historyculture/bathhouse-row-today.htm It was quite a spa and considered neutral territory by the different organized crime families way back.

I think some of their friends ran around with Billy Bob Thornton.

Didn't he pull the trigger on that one? I couldn't be bothered to pay attention after all that drama but thought he did.

Now that the servers have caught up... the new flight sim is quite impressive! Certainly updated the world in a lot more detail. Utah so far looks incredible.

Snowy and slushy here today, not very cold though. BMWs traction control is aggressive, much more so than I'd have expected from a vehicle from 2002. Turning off the DSC lets you get nice and slidey though. But with it on man it reels you in on wheel slip and yaw rate really fast. ABS works well too, makes the ABS in the cruiser seem like a cruel joke. I didn't try the hill descent feature, its limited to 20mph and frankly it holds the ground well enough that it wasn't a concern.

I didn’t end up getting it unfortunately. I was too weak-willed to sign the loan papers.

I thought we were supposed to get some stork of the century, but I guess the west side must’ve gotten the brunt of it.

No we weren't supposed to get any of that. That's all Western Washington's problem. My parents and grandparents are probably going to be without power for a few days though

It's been chilly in the mornings here, but I am loving not having to deal with that shit.
A couple brain cells rubbed together? Well good, it's probably the right move until you settle in your new digs.
If you liked 2020 I think you'll like the new one. Visually it is better. Some of it is subtle changes to lighting, coloring, sounds but it does add up. Certainly more emersive aka harder as there's a lot more to do to setup to fly and the complexity of some aircraft really starts to become apparent. The career mode is cool, a bit slow to start, and for some reason a bit laggy for me. I don't see much frame rate drop in free flight but it's very noticeable in career mode. Not sure why that is.

Is the only hardware difference between rear axles from 95-97 to 01-04 the e-brake cable setup?

Largely yes but even that isn't 100% guaranteed to be different

After looking at ECGS I've decided to send it on an e-locker axle swap
Wish I didn't just do a rear brake job like 6 months ago but damn I'm excited to not be open diffs

Because with the axle swap I can do it without paying labor, got a friend selling one for a decent price, plus $200 for the trail gear plug and play harness and some misc $ for brakes/seals and its installed for <$1000.
Just the eaton e locker is like $1500, or $900 for an ARB + $3-800 for an onboard air setup. Plus then I'm paying labor to rebuild the diff, so I really should do gears at the same time. And if I'm doing gears at the same time, I really should do a front locker at the same time. And all of the sudden I'm back at $4k lol
