Did the Hammer Run and then ran an enduro the following weekend, all 75 mile days but the enduro was endless whoops that beat the fuck out of me. We are in a drought right now so the dust was insane for both events. Couldn't see shit when you were stuck behind a big group at the Hammer run. Since Enduros are naturally more spread out it was less of an issue.

    Got some cool pics:

2 Wheel Dyno Works has a sale on tunes, $50 off their flash tune. I've been riding the Super Tenere in Sport mode recently and still can't get used to the on/off choppy throttle response. I'm hoping the tune helps with it.

Appreciate it, but touring mode is perfect foe my old man fun. I don't have any interest in tuning the bike.

Fair enough, I rode mine in Touring mode since I bought the bike till about last week. Just trying Sport mode because I want to see if the tune makes a difference. I do love how much more aggressive the bike feels, though.

They make great tunes. Had their flash tune on my FZ07 and it was a huge improvement over stock.

I have an anthony tune on my tenere, was one of the first things I did on my bike after I got it. Worlds better than stock and the fact the throttle bodies open up ALL the way in 1st - 3rd now at all rpms its a hoot. I always ride in sport mode even with the tune, the choppiness of the throttle gets softened with the tune down low in both modes.

I really wish the closed loop fueling area could be tuned, im half tempted to get powervision and go down that rabbit hole cus right at 4200 rpms (73mph) you go from closed to open loop and mpgs drop significantly. That stated the EPA probably killed the ability in the latest version of power vision to do that.
